SUNDAY SCHOOL – This Bible teaching program is to facilitate Bible study for all:  Youth classes function at the Beginners, Primary, Junior, Intermediate and Senior levels.  There are two Adult classes.  We meet each Sunday Morning at 9:30 a.m.

 

PRAYER MEETING & BIBLE STUDY –  We believe strongly in the medium of prayer, both as a means of personal communication with our Lord, and as the instrument of intercession on behalf of our fellow man.  Bible study allows each member an opportunity to get an in-dept study of the Word, and a real life applicability of it to our daily lives.  We meet each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

 

MISSIONARY MINISTRY – This ministry is to explore with growing understanding the nature, implication and evidence of God’s missionary purpose.  This ministry has three circles and the Men’s Fellowship that emphases are placed on:  Youth, Adults, Senior Adults the Sick and Shut-ins.

  • Carey Pitts – First Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
  • Flower Guild – 3rd Monday in the months of January, April, July, October at 6:30 p.m.
  • Silver Link – Third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
  • Men’s Fellowship – For men and boys devoted to equipping and involving members in Christian service and the mission of the church and community.  Meeting time is the Saturday before the fourth Sunday of each month at 8:30 a.m.
  •  

DEACON’S MINISTRY – Provides care for the Church’s members and others in the community.  Proclaim the gospel to believers and unbelievers and creates Christian fellowship as serving as exemplary Christian Leaders.

 

DEACONESS’ MINISTRY – Assist the Pastor and Deacons in promoting unity for the spiritual growth and welfare of the church.

 

TRUSTEES’ MINISTRY – Serves as spiritual and legal representatives of the Church to assist the church in all transactions related to the Church.  They hold legal title to the Church property and signs all documents related to the Church’s business.

 

USHER MINISTRY – Provides the duty of keeping an orderly service and providing the welcome to members and visitors.  We have two levels:  Youth and Senior Ushers.  The Usher Ministry meets the second Sunday of each month following morning worship service.

 

YOUTH COUNCIL – This ministry provides Christian training and motivation  to the continuing growth of our youth.  The Youth Council meets the second Saturday in Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct at 10:30 a.m.

 

MUSIC MINISTRY – Our music ministry is best described as inspirationally diverse.  From traditional anthems and hymns to contemporary gospel renderings.  We have four choirs:

  • Mass Choir – rehearsal time Monday before the 1st Sunday at 7:00 p.m.
  • Youth Choir – rehearsal time Saturday before the 2nd Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
  • Combined Choir – rehearsal time Tuesday before the 2nd and 3rd Sunday at 7:00 p.m.
  • Male Chorus – rehearsal time Saturday before the 4th Sunday at 10:30 a.m

PASTOR’S AID MINISTRY – Assist the Pastor with prayer, with encouragement and with action.  Provides liberal support for the shepherd that gathers, leads and feeds with sound doctrine, watches over, in every endeavor to promote the health and spiritual life of God’s people.  The Pastor’s Aid Ministry meets the first Wednesday in the months of January, April, July, October at 6:00 p.m.

 

MEDIA MINISTRY – Provide means for the membership and community to take part in the worship experience.  Use as an evangelistic tool and provides comfort for those that are unable to attend worship.
